How to Obtain and Manage a Main Character

Managing your characters effectively is key to enjoying the full experience of BOI Legends.
Follow this guide to understand how to designate your Main character, the rules involved, and how to handle Alt characters.
Play wisely and lead your account to greatness!

How to Designate a Main Character

Step 1: Understand the Rules

Before setting your Main character, ensure you understand the rules. Only one character per account can be designated as Main. Alts must be properly marked before switching another character to Main.

Step 2: Log In to Your Account

Use your credentials to log in to the game or the "Account Management -> Character Access Control" panel. Only the logged-in account can make changes to its Main or Alt characters.

Step 3: Review Your Characters

Navigate to the "Account Management -> Character Access Control" section to see all characters associated with your account. Each character’s status (Main or Alt) will be displayed along with options for changes.

Step 4: Set Alts First

Ensure all other characters are set as Alts before switching another character to Main. Select the "Set as Alt" option for the relevant characters.

Step 5: Initiate a Switch Request

Select the character you want to designate as your Main. Click on the "Switch to Main" option. This will start a 24-hour waiting period before the change takes effect.

Step 6: Confirm the Change

After the 24-hour waiting period, your selected character will automatically become the Main. A notification will be sent to confirm the switch. You can check the "Switch History" for details of previous changes.

Remember: A character marked as a "Permanent Alt" cannot be switched to Main. Carefully plan your character roles to optimize your gameplay experience.
  • If you cannot see the option to switch to Main, ensure all other characters are set as Alts.
  • If the waiting period is not counting down, check your internet connection and session status.
  • If you accidentally marked a character as "Permanent Alt," this action cannot be reversed.
  • Contact support if you encounter any issues with your character’s status or account.
