Character Attribute Points

Master the attribute point system and optimize your character build

Introduction

Understanding how attribute points work is essential for creating an optimal character build. This guide explains how many attribute points you earn at each level and how to distribute them effectively to maximize your character's potential.

Understanding Attribute Points

Attribute Points by Level Range

As you level up, you gain attribute points that can be used to increase your character's stats. The number of points gained varies by level range:

Level 1: 0 points
Levels 2-19: 100 points per level
Levels 20-39: 2 points per level
Levels 40-60: 3 points per level
Levels 61-80: 4 points per level
Levels 81-100: 5 points per level
Levels 101-109: 6 points per level
Levels 110-140: 7 points per level
Levels 141-150: 8 points per level
Levels 151: 9 points
Levels 152-160: 10-18 points (increasing by 1 per level)
Levels 161-190: 19-48 points (increasing by 1 per level)
Levels 191-240: 49-100 points (increasing by ~1 per level)
Levels 241-250: 101-110 points (increasing by 1 per level)

Exalted Level Attribute Points

After reaching max level, you can continue to earn attribute points through the Exalted Level system:

Exalted Level 1: 50 points
Exalted Levels 2-45: 5 points per level
Exalted Levels 46-100: 10 points per level

Important: Each Exalted Level provides a fixed 100 additional attribute points that are automatically distributed among all stats, regardless of which exalted level you achieve.

Total Attribute Points Calculation

For a character at maximum level (250) with Exalted Level 100, the total attribute points would be:

Base Level Points: ~4,800 points (from levels 1-250)
Exalted Level Points: 50 + (44 × 5) + (55 × 10) = 50 + 220 + 550 = 820 points
Fixed Exalted Bonus: 100 × 100 = 10,000 points
Character Reset Bonus: Reset Level × 1,000 points

For example, a character with 5 resets would have an additional 5,000 points from resets alone, bringing their total to approximately 20,620 attribute points.

Note: This calculation represents your raw total points only. Your actual attribute points can be significantly higher when wearing equipment that provides attribute bonuses. Always check your character sheet for the true total including all equipment effects.

Distributing Attribute Points

How you distribute your attribute points depends on your class and play style. Here are some general guidelines:

Strength: Increases physical damage and carrying capacity
Dexterity: Improves attack speed and accuracy
Vitality: Enhances HP and defense
Energy: Increases MP and magical abilities

Most classes benefit from focusing on 2-3 primary attributes rather than evenly distributing points.

Class-Based Distribution:
Each class has different attribute priorities. Warriors typically focus on Strength and Vitality, while Mages prioritize Energy and Vitality. Archers often balance Dexterity and Strength, and hybrid classes should distribute based on your preferred combat style.

Remember that gear, buffs, and special items can also increase your attributes. Consider these additional sources when planning your character build to maximize effectiveness.
